Japan Post frequently updates the available shipping options to each country. Options may change or be suspended at any time for a number of reasons.

Japan Post Revisions to International Postal Rates

Due to the increased cost of processing international mail in all countries, Japan Post has made several revisions to postal rates for all of its shipping options.

|| Changes to all Japan Post Shipping Rates Beginning June 1, 2022

Beginning on June 1, 2022, shipping rates for all of Japan Post's international shipping options will officially increase by roughly 20-40% depending on the shipping option/country.

Beginning on June 1, 2021, the EMS shipping rates for Zone 2 countries officially increased by roughly 20%.

|| Changes to Some Japan Post Shipping Rates Beginning April 1, 2021

Beginning on April 1, 2021, the shipping rates for several Japan Post shipping options officially increased.

SAL - Shipping rates increased by roughly 10% *Note: SAL shipping is still suspended. This change will take effect once the shipping option resumes.

Airmail - Shipping rates increased by roughly 10%

EMS - No changes

Sea/Freight - No changes

SAL shipping has been suspended for all countries as of April 2, 2020.
